As in all other elements, muscling the asana (especially the advanced ones) is alright only during the initial stages so that we could get the feel of being there. However, it is the breath which is the most important aspect to apply. Without the breath, all asanas are irrelevant and could actually cause pain and injuries.
Here's my humble contribution to creating lightness, support and ease in the practice of Inversions using the breath and the energy locks (Bandhas). The principle of Rising Energy and inspired by Kundalini Energy. It could be applied across all types of asanas especially the deep ones which call for moving away from the earth (backbends, arm balancing, inversions, and even deep hip-openers)
